Knee Complex Introduction:

•It composed of 2 distinct articulation located within a single joint capsule.Tibiofemoral joint and Patellofemoral
•Tibiofemoral Joint - Articulation between distal femur and the proximal tibia. •Patellofemoral Joint - Articulation between posterior patella & the femur.
Tibiofemoral Joint Structure :
•It is a double condyloid joint.
•It Has 3° of freedom
•Flexion / Extenvon → Sagittal plane & Coronal axis
•Medial/Lateral → Transverse plane &Langitunal Axis
•Abduction/Adduction → Frontal plane & AP Axis
